Allison Parker, principal, founded Peake Impact to work directly with family and community foundations and mission-driven businesses that are ready to invest in constructive and crucial societal change.
Allison cares deeply about being a conduit for good. She’s particularly interested in shining a light on women’s issues, immigrant communities, rural communities, and communities where industry has disappeared.
Prior to founding Peake Impact, Allison most recently served as Managing Director of Philanthropy Strategies at Seattle Foundation, one of the nation’s largest community foundations, where she worked for 16 years. As Managing Director, she led the development and launch of the Foundation’s donor-advised impact investing program and directed a team responsible for the creation of over 40 new funds for the foundation and the investment of over $150 million annually.
At Sonen Capital she led the Endowments and Foundations practice connecting philanthropic audiences with customized investment strategies that delivered measurable social and environmental impact alongside competitive financial returns.
Allison currently serves on the board of Heritage University, one of only three universities in the county designated as both a Hispanic-Serving Institution and a Native American-Serving Non-Tribal Institution. She is an active member of Seattle Rotary #4, having previously served on their Board. Earlier in her career, she was named one of the Puget Sound Business Journal's “Forty Under 40.”
Allison holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Washington, where she was the recipient of the Evans Scholarship—a prestigious four-year, full-tuition award. Allison was the first in her family to obtain a bachelor's degree.
